Utengo is Swahili for 'refuge' or 'shelter' and reflects our purpose of supporting Christian churches, orphanages, and schools in Kenya so that they become places of healing and restoration for impoverished Kenyan youth.

Utengo Ministries is a nonprofit organization that was established in 2004 by Leon and Verwray Scott and Kenyan Pastor Zedekiah Manwa Osoro. To read more, click here.
